Record Sale for Lyons Ranch!

March 1st came in like a lamb but roared like a lion for the 22nd annual Lyons Ranch Performance Bull Sale at the ranch near Manhattan, Kansas. The sunshine and 50 degrees weather brought an overflow crowd to take advantage of the powerful set of bulls offered by Jan and Frank Lyons and Karl, Amy, Tanner and Trey Langvardt.

Top selling lots went to repeat customers and included lot 17, Lyons Image Maker 8125, selected by T & S Farms, McEwen, Tennessee for $7700 and lot 6, Lyons In Focus 8015, for $6500 to Chippewa Valley Angus Farm, Rittman, Ohio, and Canaan Creek Farm of Burbank, Ohio.

The many repeat customers and first time buyers evidenced their approval of the offering as they very actively bid throughout the sale. The 79 bulls sold for an average of $3821 with bulls selling from $1800 to $7700, with the majority selling between $2500 and $4500.
