2009 Sale Report

2009 Lyons Ranch Angus Sale Tradition Shows Great Acceptance

The Lyons family welcomed many repeat buyers and friends to their 21st Annual Lyons Ranch Angus Bull Sale on March 2, 2009. Eighty fall and spring yearling bulls grossed $240,000 to average $3000. The Lyons Ranch program, headed by Jan and Frank Lyons and their daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Karl Langvardt, was founded over 30 years ago on the principle of supplying superior bulls to cow/ calf and seedstock customers in Kansas and surrounding states. The tradition continues today at their annual sale the first Monday in March or by private treaty at the ranch.
